My great life-long love and fascination is singing and everything creatively performed – dancing, acting, learning chords on my Ovation, drawing and definitely healthy cooking!! You can catch a glimpse of me in the kitchen singing to some funky grooves by Kendra Morris – POW stirring the pot with my magic. And prepping fresh hors d’oeuvres that set the stage for some folky groves from Liane LaHavas, stumbling and scrambling to food ecstasy.  When I am in need of soup for the soul, a bit of Nina Simone and I’m already feelin good!

  1. Hi Adriana! My name is Rachel and I’m currently a nurse working in a hospital. I’m interested in getting into preventive medicine, mainly nutrition and lifestyle changes, that can help some of the diseases I see every single day at work. I looked into the Integrative Nutrition program not because I was interested in more schooling (I was in school for seven years to get my BSN), but because I found the content interesting. I’ve been doing a lot of self-study and reading from blogs, podcasts, books, research articles, magazines, etc. Do you have any resources you recommend for quick reading or listening to help further my self-education on this topic?

    • Hello Rachel! Thank you for connecting! I get really excited when folks engage with me!
There are tons of books you can dive into! The few I mull over often are Superfoods by David Wolfe, Nourishing Traditions by Sally Fallon, Prescription for Herbal Healing by Phyllis A. Balch and Integrative Nutrition by Jashua Rosenthal. You will also find in my future posts references to certain books. Subscribe to my blog and stay in the know. You can also follow me on FB/HealthCoachSecrets and twitter @AdrianaNastasha ^.^
